Samsung N145 netbook touchpad vertical edge scroll doesn't work

Hi
Running Fedora 14 on my Samsung netbook. The touchpad buttons, movement and horizontal scroll work BUT vertical scroll for some reason doesn't.

My N145 netbook is very similar to the widely sold N150. Has anyone with this model experienced the similar problem in that horizonal scrolling works but vertical doesn't. BTW I only care that the one finger scroll works, 2 finger is a bonus.

Below, I've posted the relevant part of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

Code:

I also have /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-synaptics.conf:

Code:
Section "InputClass"
       Identifier "touchpad catchall"
       Driver "synaptics"
       MatchIsTouchpad "on"
       MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
             Option "TapButton1" "1"
             Option "TapButton2" "2"
             Option "TapButton3" "3"
             Option "VertEdgeScroll" "on"
             Option "HorizEdgeScroll" "on"
EndSection
However, the vertical scroll does not work

Any ideas ?

BTW really enjoying Fedora14 (KDE) on this netbook except for this annoyance.

I finally made some progress and was able to vertically scroll for the first time.
I used synclient and I changed the RightEdge from 1099 to 800.
It works pretty good but I need to do more experimenting.
