Hello,
I bought a brand new ASUS 1215N some days ago and I decided that I couldn't wait 18 more days for Fedora 15 to come out, so I downloaded and installed Fedora 15 Beta. Everything looks great! Love the changes and improvements, even if it's not completely finished yet!
However, I realised I had a problem: Wifi doesn't work. Apparently, the drivers aren't included in Fedora. Since it was a beta version, I tried to install Fedora 14, but it also doesn't make it work.
The wireless card is a Broadcom 802.11n. Linux doesn't detect it. However, I went to this website:
http://www.desktoplinux.com/news/NS2486458776.html
and there it says that the drivers are available.
Well, if they are, where do I download them and more importantly, how do I install a device driver under Fedora? I never did that and have no idea of how to do it. Do I need to do NASA stuff and recompile the Kernel or something? Hope not.
Regards!
