Question Realtek Audio driver problem

HI everyone,
I try to update my audio driver downloaded from realtek website. But it fail, I try agin by downloading from alsa project site, but it also fail.
My system config are:
Amd phenom II X4 945
Asus m2n68-am plus (with nvidia nforce 730a)

os : fedora 14 64 bit

Before updating I am able to listen sound on stereo sound system. But now no sound. i also check for bug, details are at here.

Please help me how I can get sound back on my system.

If it was working properly there was no need to update it manually, and in fact you probably shouldn't have. The current Fedora version is 1.0.24-1 which is only slightly behind the one on the Realtek website.

Double check to make certain your sound isn't muted in alsamixer.

Thanks Ron Rogers Jr., for your reply. Actually I wanted to play 5.1 sound on fedora, as I am able to play on windows. And I am totally new for linux.
Also I already checked it, in alsamixer it shows dummy sound and it is on full volume. I think it install some other card sound. Is there any option for undo all that changes like system restore in Windows?
