Miserable Speeds Accessing SAMBA Shares on NAS

I am accessing an NAS (WD 2TB MyBook Live) with my netbook (eeepc1000HE) both hooked to a Belkin N router with ethernet cables. I am getting terrible speeds of 75KB/s when I should be getting 10MB/s like I do on the Windows machine. What could be causing this massive speed discrepancy?

Environment:
eeePC1000HE running Fedora 15
WD MyBook Live 2TB NAS
Older Gateway Laptop running Windows 7
Belkin N Router
The whole thing is hooked together using cables, though once I figure out my problems I would like the option of using wireless as well.
