Brother HL-1240 detected, but not working

this printer is in use since years, with success on all fedora-versions. since the upgrade to fedora 15, i cannot print with this anymore.

nevertheless, dmesg shows, that he has been recognized.

[ 14.375377] parport0: Printer, Brother HL-1240 series

and the cups.logs show:

- nothing

it seems, as cups cannot work any longer with this printer?
