Google Chrome vs. Firefox

I installed Chrome-stable on F14-64bit yesterday and frankly speaking, it is very slow. I'm kinda wondering if some of my internal settings are fumbled causing this slowness. Firefox, on-the-other-hand, is still pretty quick.

So, I just found something weird. Using the icon on my desktop, I get a chrome that is simply buggy. When I type "google-chrome" from a terminal I get a snappy version. So, seems like I need to do some cleaning.

How can I clean up my old chrome junk and keep my new snappy chrome.
