Loading Modules at boot?

Hello.

I'm not really new to Linux, but this has been the first time I've used Fedora Core since the second.

I just fixed a minor issue with my Intel8x0 sound driver, I'll explain how to fix that if you ever have that problem, I found it at ZD7000forums.

Anyway, after I fixed that problem, I'm left with one question. How do I load modules at boot up?

I've read the NVIDIA Driver install and is that very reliable when you want to load up a sound module?

Thank you!

Oh and...

hi,

it's easy: put modprobe somemodulename line into /etc/rc.d/rc.local file.

IMHO if you have a alias snd-card-0 modulename in /etc/modprobe.conf the module is loaded automaticaly with first attempt to use device.
I have in /etc/modprobe.conf for SB128PCI this line:
alias snd-card-0 snd-ens1371
and module is automaticaly loaded.
