USB 3.0 not detected by Fedora 15 installer

I tried installing the USB 3.0 drive through the USB 2.0 port, it installs and I put it back into the USB 3.0 port where it does boot but does not finish starting, it spits out an error and stops.

without the error message its a bit hard to tell you what to do, we dont have a crystal ball

if you could get a screenshot of the error message an upload it here would be of some help

Sorry, but this really doesn't tell me if you are able to read / write to it under USB 3.0, all it tells me is that it will NOT boot.

Well I have F15 installed on a hard drive in a USB 2.0 dock and when I connect the USB 3.0 external hard drive to the USB 3.0 port it is recognized and I am able to put files on the drive and read them, does that answer your question?

The error message is:

Oh well I guess it's going to be a waiting game, I just hope that it's at least on the list of their priorities.

Thank you F16, my USB 3.0 HD is recognized by the installer and it works great now I just have trouble with my resolution with my 42" lcd tv connected to my computer with hdmi cable, if I aticonfig --set-pcs-val=MCIL,DigitalHDTVDefaultUnderscan,0, it gets rid of black borders but it stretches too much it should be 1920x1080 but it seems to be more than that.

Nevermind I found a solution I have to enter it manually every time but it's better than nothing, I have to add this:

aticonfig --set-dispattrib=dfp2,positionX:50
aticonfig --set-dispattrib=dfp2,positionY:33
aticonfig --set-dispattrib=dfp2,sizeX:1825
aticonfig --set-dispattrib=dfp2,sizeY:1018
