media with rescue mode

the F14 DVD has a rescue option (after it boots up) that works great.

I cannot find this same option on F15 or F16 alpha DVD's. I probably tried the desktop version, can't recall.

so how do I run a rescue using the latest Fedora release?

Re: media with rescue mode

I don't know about Fedora 16 because I haven't gone there yet, but the Fedora 15 DVD still has "Rescue installed system" in its boot menu. Maybe you are referring to the live CD. Now those don't have that classic rescue mode (that we used to call "linux rescue"). But the live CD still can be used to do maintenance on a system installed on a hard drive.
