I can't connect to my Netgear wireless network...

I need help... When i hit the network icon at the top it just says cable unpluged and network settings. This is the only reason i am still using Vista.

Hello Acutical

You appear to have already asked this question in another post and people, myself included, are trying to help.

It may be best to answer the questions they have asked instead of starting another thread.

Re: I can't connect to my Netgear wireless network...

Do your NETGEAR network appear when you click on icon? You can:
1) turn wireless on (if you turned it off in BIOS, enable it there first) - right click on network applet, click Network Settings, select Wireless and turn it ON
2) click on network called NETGEAR or something, then if you connected for the first time - enter password
3) (optional) if there is still no connection, enter DNS in appropriate fields in Network Settings

also, your wireless card may be not supported from the box. In that case you can find its name, or a notebook model, and search internet and this forum. If still no luck wait for Fedora 16, or there may be general steps, like command "lsusb" and so on
