02 Micro SD card not mounting

Hi All,

I'm very new to Linux, using it for about 3 days. I have a Vostro 1710 on Fedora 15 and the SD card does not seem to be working. I say 'seem' as I expect to have a window pop up with the card contents when I insert it - which is not happening. I've tried a few fixes from various forums, including this one, but my problem still persists.

I've checked the BIOS and the card seems to be enabled.

As far as I can see it should work?

I have looked in /var/log/messages after removing and inserting the card a few times and there is nothing in there that seems to suggest the card is mounting.

I insert the card with messages open but no response:
