Fedora 15: Install Realtek 8188SU Wi-fi USB Adaptor

I have read through many threads and searched extensively on the internet on how to get the Wifi Adaptor working on Fedora 15.

I have come to the point where the USB Adaptor has got detected by the system and I have installed the drivers for Realtek 8188SU. (make commands gave me a lot of headache but it worked finally).

All Wireless networks are getting detected. However I cannot connect to my Wifi connection. Soon after the reboot or after inserting the USB Adaptor I get a "Network Manager Crash" message.

Nothing happens when I click on my own Wifi connection in Network Manager. Please help. I am a newbie and have spent 2 days only on this issue.

It was far easier to update Firefox version, install Adobe Flash Player. It has been super painful to get the Wifi connection established.

Please help. What is it that I am missing? What can I check to make sure things are in place.

My Kernel is: 2.6.40.4-5.fc15.i686
