Just installed a few applications "gimp, inkscape, xmms2 and thunderbird. once everything was installed i got this message so i got curious and installed another application "atunes" and the same message popped up.

What does it mean? It is Bad? Can it be fixed?

gimp and inkscape would not do that

xmms2 ??? do not know
atunes might

is this a 64 bit OS and you "downgraded" some programs by installing the 32 bit OVER the 64 bit .

it happens .
