audio problem with Mac when run with FC15

Hello all,

I've installed Fedora 15 on my Macbook Pro in a dual boot system. Absolutely everything runs perfectly with one exception, the audio.

The sound gives me no problems whatsoever with I'm running MacOSX. But for some reason when I boot under FC15 not only is there no audio (either from my speakers or headphones when I plug them in) but there is a bright red light coming from the headphone jack. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN FC15. I've gone back and forth between Fedora and OSX several times and each time I get the same results; it works with OSX but not FC15. I've looked at following the directions at thread 266291 to no avail. And in any case that thread only suggests how to get rid of the red light, whereas I'd like to get my audio to work.


Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
