f16 nvidia terrible performance

I did clean install of f16, then nvidia driver from rpmfusion.

I experience terrible re-drawing performance in many apps. For example, in chrome, when I click on the tool icon, it took 5-10 seconds to draw the menu.

I reverted to nouveau and the problem went away.

Re: f16 nvidia terrible performance

I had the same, did some (re-)searching, this resolved the issue:

yum update *\nvidia\* --enablerepo=rpmfusion-*-rawhide

and reboot
