vlc does not work on fedora 14

I tried all these steps and installation was successful but vlc does not work ...




$> su -
#> rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/...ble.noarch.rpm
#> yum install vlc
#> yum install mozilla-vlc (optional)



Any suggestions

You haven't given much information for anyone to help you. What happens when you start it?
Run it from a terminal and see if there are any errors.

does not work means...does not install or you do not have the codec to run particular files

I find some errors as below:

dose it play in Mplayer with the 2011 all coded package

it might say avi but IS IT ?


also you installed only the rpmfusion-free

i take it you did NOT install the rpmfusion-nonfree

the codecs ARE IN THE NONFREE

you NEED to have both installed
