edit http's document root

Hello,

apache's document root /var/www/html is owned by root.root . If I want to edit in document root , I would have to go in as root. This is not what I want .
What is the intention of Fedora to edit in document root?

Thanks,

Eric J.

Re: edit http's document root

Hi and Welcome to the forum,

personally i just change the permissions myself

Quote:
su -
chmod -R 777 /var/www/html
But if you dont want to do that then is possible to just run nautilus file browser in root or what ever editor you use.
