Question Fedora 16 Graphics Help

Also my hdmi port doesnt work. Do i need to install intel drivers and if so any help i could get would be appreciated. please keep in mind i am a linux beginner...BTW everything else seems to work perfectly. OK system specs....

Intel drivers have been built into the kernel for a while now, so that's probably not your problem. I assume that you're running a GNOME desktop. GNOME 3 has very large fonts by default, so that might be what you're experiencing. You can install gnome-tweak-tool and adjust your fonts down a bit if you'd like.

Personally, I'm running KDE right now since it matches my workflow better than GNOME3.

When you type in your password at login, there's a little button called 'Session' just below the input box. Just click on that and you can select your desktop
