[SOLVED] FC16 KDE4 Could not save properties

I upgraded from FC14 GNOME to FC16 KDE4 and I am having a problem. There are several items on my desktop with the same icon. I am trying to change them but I keep getting the message that I do not have sufficient access to do this. I have attached a screen print of the error.

I own both the directory and the file. The permissions are 777. I was able to change the icon in FC14. Is this a Fedora bug or a KDE bug?

I even tried the same thing using
$ sudo dolphin
and got the same results. What is wrong?

Here is an update to this problem. The desktop files are text-type items that contain the info for that item. I opened the file gedit and changed the icon keyword to what I wanted and saved the file. It worked. The icon is now what I want it to be. This is really wierd.
