HowTo View Error Messages that Appear Briefly when Resuming from Suspend

When I resume from suspend, some error messages appear briefly (related to Alsa). They don't appear long enough for me to read the entire message and the error messages do not appear in /var/log/messages.

Where do I find these messages? Do I have to turn on Alsa debugging or logging to see these messages? If so, how?

I believe you will be able to see the log messages in /var/log/pm-suspend.log.

Someone please correct me if this is not the case..

Thanks. I reviewed this log and it does show resume from suspend messages.

However, it does not show the Alsa error messages displayed briefly when resuming from suspend.

Re: HowTo View Error Messages that Appear Briefly when Resuming from Suspend

I found one of the error messages near the bottom of the file generated by the following command:
Code:
alsa-info --no-upload
The error message is as follows:
Code:
[143331.658054] ALSA sound/usb/mixer.c:846 5:2: cannot get min/max values for control 2 (id 5)
