Latest Nvidia driver?

I noticed while looking on Nvidia's site that a Linux driver was released:

Version: 295.20
Operating System: Linux x86
Release Date: February 13, 2012

How long can we expect to wait before there is an updated kmod-nvidia. If I understand correctly, the current version I have installed is 2.90.

rpm -qa kmod-nvidia
kmod-nvidia-290.10-1.fc16.15.x86_64

This is confirmed when I pull up the Nvidia X Server Settings utility.

ATrpms has it listed, but I don't want to mix repositories and installation methods. That's looking for trouble. I would prefer to wait until it hits rpmforge. Any idea when that might be?

Re: Latest Nvidia driver?

Thanks. I had searched, but that thread did not show up in my search results.

Edit:

Reading the other thread, I can see that there may be too many problems with Gnome Shell for this version to make it out. I don't think the problem would affect me as i am running XFCE, but since Gnome Shell is the default DE, I guess it best to wait until that is fixed. So, No 295 for you! (spoken in best imitation of Soup Nazi).
