Howto use keyboard shortcut to reboot/shutdown from gnome/cinnamon

For those of you frustrated like me at having to use the mouse/to shutdown, here is an easy keyboard solution method:

Use dconf-editor to go to:

org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power

change button-power to interactive by holding down the left mouse button and dragging down the drop-down menu.
