Yum update should install only stable releases of firefox
Hi guys
I was on firefox 5 and I wanted to update to the latest version of firefox. I followed the below steps
I downloaded the RPM-GPG-KEY-remi ( http://code.google.com/p/syslogserve...M-GPG-KEY-remi)
rpm --import RPM-GPG-KEY-remi
I downloaded remi-release-14-6.fc14.remi.noarch.rpm ( http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat...oarch.rpm.html)
yum install remi-release-14-6.fc14.remi.noarch.rpm
installation went fine.
yum --enablerepo=remi update firefox
Firefox was updated to the latest version (ver12).
It also gave me a warning that I should use only stable firefox releases. Now how can I make the yum to install only the stable release of firefox when it does the update? Is it possible to do?
