power usage

Hi,

on F17 I see a noticable higher power usage. I *think* I disabled every service I don't need on my netbook, but still I have, according to powertop, a discharge rate of 6 to 8 W, while on F16 it's 5 to 6.5. Anybody else seeing this also?

Klaus

Re: power usage

Is there a chance its running in kernel-debug mode?

Re: power usage

You're right, I did not check. But it looks like it's not activated (probably was in alpha). Though, I did a restart, and no performance usage is better. I have to check whether this is a hibernate issue ...

Thanks!
Klaus
