GStreamer Issues [Fedora 17 x86_64]

After upgrading to Fedora 17 from 16 via Preupgrade I've had an issue with the non-free portions of GStreamer not being 'seen' by any media players that rely on it. gst-launch-0.10 complains about missing decoders as well. All of the libs seem to be in place (in /usr/lib64), and I have all of the most recent free, and non-free, gstreamer packages from rpmfusion. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this issue?

Here's a load of debug information from gst-launch if it helps:

Since you have all the libraries installed, try deleting the the .gstreamer-0.10 directory from your home directory and see if it works.

Whenever gstreamer is not "seen" by any of the media players, this has worked for me ...

This worked for me, too! Thanks a lot for the tip - I was about to give up on the piece of cr..p that is Ferdora 17. (Since Fedora 13 I had only problems whenever I upgrade; however, I have no choice but to go forward if I want to stay with Fedora.)

Thanks again!
