Checksum error causing install fail

I recently did system bios upgrade in a Dell Optiplex PC.
I have a dual boot Windows Linux drive.
After the bios update, windows boots up but Linux fails to and exits with the following message along the lines of.

"Checksum error in network card"

and then throws me onto a debug terminal.

Windows has not problem and boots up and works perfect.

I tried reinstalling fedora newer and older versions, but still it wont even install due to a checksum mismatch in the network card.

Any idea if I can pass MAC or such during boot options in order to overide this problem.

I have no clue why there is a checksum mismatch after the bios upgrade.
