how to how to make X hardware Accelerated

on my laptop i notice that if I grab a window and move it fast the processor jumps to max speed and at 100 percent. So i guess the processor is drawing the screen.

Is there any way to make X hardware accelerated?

What video card is it? You might need to download and install the drivers for it!

its a laptop card, igp 320 ati radeon mobility u 1.

Im using the built in radeon driver. In fc2 I used vensa driver, it work ok but no 3d acceleration.

this new radeon driver works kind of bad, but I get 200 fps on glxgears with no processor usage.

When i drag a window it takes about 1-2 seconds for it to draw again :dunno:

any help is appreciated
