No sound issues w/ Tvtime (FC2) - no solutions anywhere

I jut installed Tvttime on FC2, using a card with Bt878 chip. I have video but no sound. Tried toggling with things in alsa mixer. Even the line-in. I noticed some people mentioning abt Line-in Surround but I don't have a box box like that on my Alsa-mixer. COuld anyone suggest something? Thanks.
