have you managed to actually download it? I wen't to:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
clicked: "to apply to participate in the pre-release program for Adobe Reader 7.0 for Linux, please click here."
this transferred me here:
"Invalid Testing Opportunity
You are trying to apply for an invalid testing opportunity."
and then I need to login, but I don't know where to make an account for this program...

Edit: ARRRGGGHHHH! I am so ashamed - turns out that this is the download link to the older version of Acrobat. (Last time I try to do this stuff sober!)

I clicked the link above, but it leads to linux-5010.tar.gz instead of Acrobat Reader 7.

Yeah, that's version 5.0.10, not 7 beta.

Hello,
this is not the Beta version of Acrobat Reader 7. It is the normal 5.0.10 Release in your link. Today i got an email where the direct-downloadlink was in. An it is much bigger than you release of the link.

Okay guys, one more time.... I followed the original link and didn't read CAREFULLY all the way to the bottom and ended up pasting a link to the 5.0.10, instead of the Beta 7.0 - Perhaps borgi2008 can arrange to share the actual 7.0 or point us in the right direction? In the meantime, please ignore my earlier post and I'm going to edit and remove that link.
