problem with hostname after unclean shutdown

I had set the hostname of my computer as "intel" and domain name as "kripa.thk". Recently on account of a power outage there was an unclean shutdown of the machine and now my hostname is intelkripathk. I tried correcting this using the command "hostname" and "domainname". This corrects problem temporarily. But after a reboot the problem re occurs.

Could anyone enlighten me on this ? Is there any script that I should run after "hostname" and "domainname" to rectify this problem.

TIA

Cherian

See the hostname & domain in /etc/sysconfig/network. Also, I would add an enter in the /etc/hosts such as:
127.0.0.1 intel intel.kripa.thk

After you reboot, the changes will be permanent.
