Ralink rt2500 Wireless card cannot get IP address

I grabbed the linuxdrivers from the "serial monkey" website and installed them on my FC3 I386 computer. It looks like that the installation was fine. I tried the wireless connection and under XP it was ok.

When i hit: ifconfig

I get:

ra0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 000:41:FB:65:7F
inet6 addr: fe80::2d0:41ff:fefb:657f/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:3952 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:179088 (174.8 KiB)
Interrupt:11 Base address:0x4000

When I hit: iwconfig

ra0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 000:41:FB:65:7F
inet6 addr: fe80::2d0:41ff:fefb:657f/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:3952 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:179088 (174.8 KiB)
Interrupt:11 Base address:0x4000

when I try: ifup ra0

I do'nt get an IP

also: iwlist ra0 scan

ra0 No scan results

I tried to find a solution on the internet but unfortunately I could't find a similar problem,

Kind regards for your help in advance

What is the contents of the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file (if that is the interface you are using)?
