newbe needs help

I am sorry but I just can't figure out what to do. I have a kworld bt878 capture card in fedora core 3. When I try my capure card in tv I only get a blue screen. I can select s-video and get a picture form my camera. What I need is some one will wal me threw the process to set up my card from start to finish. I want to get rid o windows xp and this is the only program let to do that, I hate windows!!!!

What TV capture program are you using? TVtime, xawtv or something else.

I am using tvtime. My card is a kworld the conputer shows it as a bt878 chipset. I have tested the function for s-video capture and that works so far. I am totaly new at this so any starting point or urls for instruction would help as well.

I got the same card (Conexant bt878) and when I run TVtime I just see that blue screen...

Nothing helped... Anyone, HELP!

Don't have tvtime installed right now, nor do i have a tuner card to check this but try right clicking and selecting the NTSC video source and make sure it's getting broadcast signal and not cable. Hope this helps.

I did finally get it to work, but I am not sure how. I installed video4linux then I added setting to show my capture card as card 3 tunner 2 I am going to go over it again to make sure.
