How to get the latest version of blender for fedora2?

Hello

I am a newbie and I want to learn how to use blender on fedora 2? where can I get the rpm to do so?

I was also wondering where to find the ini file to update fedore core 2? using yum

you can find the rpms here.

you can also use yum to install blender if you set yum up to use either the dag or dries repositories.

this will guide you on how to use yum.

Yum Failure

thanks for replying

I tried using the yum.conf file from the page you linked to.
but when I type in
yum list
I get the following

Don't know what to do to get this to work ....can you please help

That means these links are dead which is why you got Error 404. Look for mirror at this page.

did you copy the yum.conf from the faq to your yum.conf file?
you need to be root to do this.

Yes I logged in as root and updated via gedit my yum.conf file

I have also tred replacing a couple of the links in the yum.conf with the mirrors you gave me
and still nothing.

Does anyone have a yum.conf file that works that I could use?
