I need help with irda and battery management

Hello. I am convinced now that thedora is the sh**, in the best way ever of course, I have some slight problems though:

1. I really need to enable irda, and sync my nokia 6310i with evolution or whatever program.
2. I need some battery management program (I didn't find any included with fedora fc3)
3. I want to make my mobility 9700 to work, but I upgraded my kernel to the latest, and ati drivers will not work. can I modify or whatever them to make them work?
