not bootable cd
I have the three cd Fedora Core, for some reason no load. Scachav appearance of load diskette, all embarks from a diskette, but when I indicate the type of installation: Local CD-ROM, speaks that not CD Fedora Core.
By the way, tried to load first sidi from a complete set VMware, so that quietly loads the program of installation Anaconda. Of course, thus carrying out installation is not possible. Therefore and I ask Your help. Beforehand thank you!

ok.. my apologies but i need to clarify a couple of things to make sure im helping you with the right thing. you were able to boot into the fedora installer from a VMware session but not when you actually try to boot your computer using the same CD's, but it will boot from a floppy drive?

ok.. then it sounds like to me that your boot order is not set right. remove the floppy from the floppy drive (you shouldnt need it for fedora installation). now reboot and see if it boots the fedora installer that way. if not then your hard drive is set before your cdrom in the boot order, and this needs to be changed. i have no idea what kind of computer you have or what key on boot you would press to access the bios (usually its DEL, F2, F10 but not always). when your comptuer first boots it will display a message like "press ??? to enter system settings" or "press ??? to change bios". the ??? would be what key to press. in your bios somewhere there will be an option to set your CDROM higher in the boot order than your hard drive. i wish i could tell you more but i have no idea how to navigate your bios since they can be very different from computer to computer.
disclaimer: if you get into the bios, please know what you are changing before you change it. some of the settings in there, if they are changed, could possible make your computer unbootable, or have nasty little side effects.
hope that helps a little, at least

Visibly it is a problem with my knowledge of English...
Installation is not loaded thus. Only through a VMWare session.
If I I embark by means load diskette, and I choose in quality of type of installation of "Local CD-ROM", installr msg me, that this cd is not Fedora Core Installation CD. But it's no true!

you shouldnt need a floppy diskette to install fedora. you should be able to boot it directly from the first installation CD. all you should have to do is put in CD 1 and reboot the computer and the installation should start.
just to make sure, when you say diskette, you mean a 3.5 inch floppy disk right?

take out the floppy disk. ive never had a fedora install that required you to boot from a floppy disk. just boot with CD1 in the drive and it should come up as long as your CDROM is before your harddrive in your boot order.
