where to find fc4 applications list

Hi,

I'm using fluxbox WM on FC4 box, I like it more than GNOME and KDE because it's fast but the problem it doesn't contains any applications with it or programs. So, I always edit it's menu so I can add GNOME and KDE applications into it.

I'm wondering, do anyone of you knows where can I find (GNOME & KDE) applications list, you know the list which contains (application's name & it's run command).

There isn't a comprehensive executable list, as far as I know. Most gnome component executables begin with gnome- for example gnome-volume-control.

Many applications have a .desktop file which is where the menus are defined. Many of these are in /usr/share/applications.

by default all applications are installed in the /usr/bin, and you can choose icons for them form /usr/share/pixmaps or /usr/share/icons
