autostart application in gnome'specified desktop

Hi all
I would like to know if there is any means to open softs at login within gnome (fc1 & fc4). [i use k12ltsp = fc1, and FC4]
I know there is kstart that one must configure in .kde/Autostart.
But it's for KDE.

With session (preferences>more preferences>session), one can autorun application at login, but they are opened on the same Desktop...

any idea please ?

Do you want them to open on specified desktops? If so, have the programs running when you exit gnome and save the session. Next time you login the programs you had open before will open on the desktops from before. Basically, saving a "session" is like taking a snapshot.

but it doesn't work for every aplic's
firefox doesn't accept this kind of save setup config
