Firewall in Fc4 and Amule

Good evening,

I`ve got a Problem with my firewall or Amule... My normal routine in Fc3 was to disable Firewall, and Amule worked great without any Lowid ! now in Fc4 ive deactivated the firewall too, but i only receive Lowids, is there any Security mechanism which i had to deactivate too ?

Hope anyone could help me !

greetz and thanks benny

Normally, this is as easy as opening the proper port in your firewall, normally 4662/tcp.

I have amule installed and I can connect without the LowID problems. My Client TCP Port is set to 4662 and I have disabled the Extended Client UDP Port. I opened port 4662/tcp in system-config-securitylevel and also opened it on my router.

hth,
Jason

shi** Ive done what u`ve said and ive typed in at port 4662:tcp

Now my Security center did not appear any more :-(
Console says :
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/system-config-securitylevel/system-config-securitylevel.py", line 18, in ?
app.stand_alone()
File "/usr/share/system-config-securitylevel/securitylevel.py", line 453, in stand_alone
self.readFile()
File "/usr/share/system-config-securitylevel/securitylevel.py", line 353, in readFile
protoname = socket.getservbyport(int(service), protocol)
socket.error: port/proto not found

What to do now ? because i receive a lowid instead...Have testet it on Fc3 on my laptop, and it works still great..

What problems ive got now ?
