MS core fonts and OOo 1.1.9 under FC4

I have installed MS core fonts from this rpm package on a FC4 box. The typefaces are there, I can see them in the system, but OpenOffice 1.1.9 doesn't pick them up.

How can I fix this? TIA

I installed the same font set and it works for me just fine. Then again, I have updated OOo2.0 since that time so it could be that OOo sets itself for only fonts that are available to the system at the time of install? I kind of doubt it though. I think there may be more to the detail than that. For example, have you restarted the font service or just the whole machine (to make it simple... Linux doesn't need to be rebooted unless you are changing the kernel)

Log out and login again instead of rebooting.

Try to use "Relabel on boot" from System Settings --> Security Level and reboot. Maybe it has something to do with SELinux.

I updated OOo to the latest release via yum, and that fixed the problem.
