Acer Aspire 3000 WiFi does not work

I downloaded and installed FC4 for the i386 architecture, and found out that everything worked fine (as far as I could see!), with the exception of the built in wireless card.
The hardware is:
Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter
SIS 900-Based Fast Ethernet Adapter
The laptop has a built in button, which is not part of the keyboard, for turning the WiFi on. It is located on the front edge of the machine, and it lights up when connected, and flashes when not connected.
Any ideas/recommendations?

I also have a Acer 3000...and had no luck getting wireless working...I have read that these built in wifi are not supported...
If anyone has any info I would also appreciate it...
Otherwise this is a great linux laptop...

I purchased a compaq over the acer but both have same wireless chipset and you need the ndiswrapper driver.
