VSFTPD Connection Problem

I am having some issues connecting to my VSFTPD server from the outside world. I'm not certain I understand what is happening based on the errors received. If anyone has some insight, the advise would be appreciated.

Enable ascii mode in /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf and disable passive mode on the client. See the FTP section here for instructions.

If you use NAT on your server with vsftp you must allow ftp natting.
Add follow line into file /etc/sysconfig/iptables-config:
Code:
IPTABLES_MODULES="ip_nat_ftp"
And then restart network and vsftpd, of course.

NAT = Network Address Translator
- man iptables
- http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/N/NAT.html
