Unhappy yum - different databases?

On some servers when I search for a package, yum finds it and I am able to easily install it.

On other servers, when I give the exact same yum command, the package cannot be found.

What is the difference and how can I fix that?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Compare the two yum configs, both /etc/yum.conf and the repos in /etc/yum.repos.d
