Question FC4 Install Display Problems-Linux Newbie

Tried both graphical & text mode installs. Initial screens are fine (basic VGA). When screen switches to graphic mode (Install finalize), screen is off set about 1/3 to right. Can't get to right most buttons with mouse to complete install. Mandrake 10 installed without incident on same machine. Any help much appreciated.

Linux Fedora Core 4 x86; Shuttle XPCSB75G2; Pentium 4 2.8G; Kingston 512 DDR400/512MB (x2); Gainward Pro680 Nvidia GeF FX5200/256MB;Maxtor 80 GB SATA;Lite-on 5238; Viewsonic VP171b LCD;dual boot XP Home

See the "Configuring your monitor" section of the Notes.

Can't you correct this problem with the monitor control buttons ?

Problem solved - sort of. Both the monitor and display card has both analog and digital output/input ports. I was connected analog mode and changed cables to full digital mode. This is an SFF machine that I occasionally travel with thus the analog mode. Looks like I'm stuck with full digital mode for the moment. In analog mode the display was offset far beyond anything the monitor could correct for. The way FC4 is set up to install, it appears you need access to a correct graphic display to select and finalize options or your stuck in never-never land. Maybe there is a key combination to get you directly to a text command line screen but I'm not that familiar with Linux yet to know.

As I said before, Mandrake installed just fine on this machine in analog mode so I suspect the FC4 install software needs some minor touchups. FC4 did detect both the monitor and display card correctly. Except for the offset display, the installation was trouble free. BTW this is being written with the FC4 installed software. Thanks to everyone who replied.
