To play musepack audio files (mpc) using Rhythmbox

Hi all.

Is there someone who did manage to play musepack encoded mpc audio files using rhythmbox ?

I wouldn't recommend it but you could always try installing gstreamer-08 and then install gstreamer-musepack.

i have gstreamer-08 installed, but i didn't find gstreamer-musepack... do you know in what repo i should look for it?

one thing that bothers me is that amarok is capable of playing .mpc but rhythmbox is not... with same codecs. can someone tell me why is that? amarok is using also gstreamer engine..
