Install FC4 on Fujitsu/Siemens AMILO 7645

Just tryed to install FC4 on my F/S AMILO A7645 laptop with a AMD Turion 64. After a little trouble I manage to get the computer to boot from my DVD drive and Fedora started allright. Since this is my first time with Linux I just wanted to make an default install and hit ENTER at the startup screen for graphic mode. All that happens is that the computer restart and I'm back at the startupscreen again. The computer has Windows XP installed with NTFS. I don't want to keep XP and use this computer for just Linux since I want to learn Linux. Dose anyone out there have any solution to my problem? Should I erase Windows completly before installing Fedora since I don't want it anyway?

Its been a while since I did an intial install, but try this. First type mediacheck and make sure all the disks are good. You really are going to only need the first two disks. I also remember someone else saying they had a similar problem and I think I remember that you have to type something in when asked for the graphic installation. Try typing anything, and hit enter. Sorry this is all I have.
