Windows shared printer

when i was in windows xp, i need use the network printer to print my stuff. To add this network printer i need to start -> run -> //friend/ -> run "Hplaser6L for one time.

how can i add a network printer in linux?

as root, run
% system-config-printer
and add a new queue.. just follow the steps given by the wizard.


after you've saved your changes, restart cups by issuing
% /etc/init.d/cups restart
