HI,
This is a problem with an Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg wireless card

It shows up in the /sbin/lspci list but not in my network devices.
I have tried to install MADWIFI using yum but it cant find it.

I have now installed madwifi using Livna.repo (thanks nlkrio)

But i still cant find my driver in the network configeration setup screen

Its there in System tools>>Hardware Browser>>Network Devices

Driver= ath_pci
Device= /dev/eth1

There is no /dev/eth1 installed and no Atheros in the network setup screen

I even tried http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/FirstTimeHowTo
but it didnt work
every time i get eth1 installed and not ath0 and if i change it then it goes away
plus Atheros is not in the avalible cards list in network setup!!!

I have got a new Wireless MINIPCI card (SafeCom SWLMP-54108)

I have used NDisWrapper to install the drivers and it works

I think the old card problem was due to incompatible hardware

Thanks for the help
