F29 is HERE! - Matthew Miller

Oct 30, 2018 - 3:03 PM - by bob
Tomorrow is Halloween, but this week at the Fedora Project, we're
not scared of anything. Today, we officially release Fedora 29!

As always, this release is the result of the hard work of thousands
of people working in Fedora, and many times more working in all of
the upstream projects. Thank you and congratulations to everyone!

Fedora 27 - End Of Life 30th November 2018

Oct 30, 2018 - 9:27 AM - by antikythera
Fedora 29 is being released today. That means Fedora 27 hits its End of Life (EOL) status on November 30th 2018.

After November 30th 2018, packages in the Fedora 27 repositories will no longer receive any security, bugfix, or enhancement updates. Furthermore, at that point the community adds no new packages to the F27 collection.

The FedoraForum highly recommends you upgrade all systems to Fedora 29 or Fedora 28 before the EOL date. Upgrades are an easy way to keep your system setup while you move to the latest technology.
